Graduate Programs

If you are interested in doing graduate research with any of our Developmental Biology faculty, visit the links below for graduate program descriptions.

The Cellular Biology, Genetics, and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Departments and the Neuroscience Program accept students only through the Integrated Life Sciences Program (ILS).  Students interested in working with faculty in those programs should apply via ILS.

The Integrated Life Sciences (ILS) Graduate Admissions Program at UGA allows first year Ph.D. students to choose from nearly 250 faculty in 14 different graduate programs.

The University of Georgia is transforming graduate education through its redesigned Integrated Life Sciences program, see the UGA YouTube video.

Students who are interested in working with faculty in the Plant Biology Department can apply via the ILS program, can apply directly to that Department, or could also apply through Integrated Plant Sciences (IPS) too.
